It was an overcast day – almost about to sprinkle with rain but we took a chance to visit this out of the way beach in Yuragir National Park in the central north coast of NSW. The beach is accessed via a track at the top of the headland – we left the car there …
The track begins
Old banksia trunks
Along the track…
A stream emerges at the end of the track – You are now on the beach
At the edge
The beach looking south toward Wilson’s Headland
A pandanus on the beach
Felicity photographs Caly
Ocean’s edge debris
A sea eagle? gets a big fish – not really sharp, it happened so quickly
Rock pools
There’s whales breaching out there… (not visible in this image)
More beach debris
And rain …
Then, it started to rain…
You may want to visit here someday ….
